FlirtatiousThere's no real canon reason why Ryoji is so flirtatious considering who he is, and being 'born' from the SEES Leader themselves. However it could be in part due to his love of life (and the irony of what that is) that causes him to crank it up to 11 and shamelessly flirt with everyone. While it is mostly girls who are the victims of his whimsical advances, a few boys have also been his radar. It can be really cheesy at times, but hey, it seemed to work extremely well back home.
Compassionate (to the best of his ability)
Ryoji cares a lot for those who are close to him, most importantly the Leader of SEES, and his love of humans is reflected by the fear of the hardships they are about to face with what he had assumed to be the certainty of their death and doom at the hands of Nyx and technically himself as her avatar. Ready to sacrifice himself so that their memories would be erased until the end of the world because he didn't want them to suffer, he proves that he does not completely understand human emotions by that offer.
The social link with the female SEES leader enforces that with how he appears confused at times with his 'human' emotions wondering why it hurts to say beautiful things to someone, unable to fully comprehend the why of the pain that comes with it. He wants to aid his friend Junpei from the pain he has suffered from, but also doesn't seem to understand why it hurts so much when someone dies, when it's a natural part of life.
Lives for the momentBecause of who he is and who he knows he must be, it can be said that Ryoji lives 'the now'. He doesn't have any plans for his future or issues about his past, or other human worries that could burden him. In a way it sets him free to do as he pleases. This can be both good and bad, and finding out that yes, he can eat twenty cakes of he wants to, but might get sick are going to be lessons in growing.

Going with his compassionate nature, Ryoji presents himself as easy going, with a somewhat innocent-like nature (you know, when he's not invading someone's personal space which is...very often). His voice is soft even when he's excited and others comment about how pleasant he is. He seems to enjoy every little thing in life that others might take for granted - for example sunrises and sunsets, and likes to go have fun with his friends. Wither that was an unconscious desire due to his connection and growth with the SEES Leader or not, he treasures it greatly. Anything that could potentially kill someone will be removed and nerfed. Additionally, I'll play on the Persona summoning rules for when he can turn into Thanatos only under great stress / trying to protect someone / mod rules it okay.
Nyx Avatar
Turning into a giant winged creature (with an even more giant blade) of wtf proportions, the Nyx Avatar will probably be rarely used (if at all) in the game but is listed here as it is one of his powers.
Truthfully, since Ryoji has regained his sense of self, so to speak, becoming the Nyx Avatar is more a nightmare than an actual power for him, so you know, whenever the mods think it is a suitable punishment for him. ;)
Unkillable (?)
I'm pretty sure this will be nerfed outright, but just in case, I am listing it here since it is a 'power';
It was proven in the game and in the movies that Ryoji cannot be killed as he is 'The Appriser'. However due to their connection, the SEES Leaders are able to harm him or outright kill him if they chose. Note that unkillable does not mean he is invincible. Additionally, if he is allowed to keep this power, only the non-sees members wouldn't be able to kill him. Funny thing that, in worlds where he isn't the personification of death, people are able to harm him just fine :)

Personality:
- Flirtatious
There's no real canon reason why Ryoji is so flirtatious considering who he is, and being 'born' from the SEES Leader themselves. However it could be in part due to his love of life (and the irony of what that is) that causes him to crank it up to 11 and shamelessly flirt with everyone. While it is mostly girls who are the victims of his whimsical advances, a few boys have also been his radar. It can be really cheesy at times, but hey, it seemed to work extremely well back home.
- Compassionate (to the best of his ability)
Ryoji cares a lot for those who are close to him, most importantly the Leader of SEES, and his love of humans is reflected by the fear of the hardships they are about to face with what he had assumed to be the certainty of their death and doom at the hands of Nyx and technically himself as her avatar. Ready to sacrifice himself so that their memories would be erased until the end of the world because he didn't want them to suffer, he proves that he does not completely understand human emotions by that offer.
The social link with the female SEES leader enforces that with how he appears confused at times with his 'human' emotions wondering why it hurts to say beautiful things to someone, unable to fully comprehend the why of the pain that comes with it. He wants to aid his friend Junpei from the pain he has suffered from, but also doesn't seem to understand why it hurts so much when someone dies, when it's a natrual part of life.
- Lives for the moment
Because of who he is and who he knows he must be, it can be said that Ryoji lives 'the now'. He doesn't have any plans for his future or issues about his past, or other human worries that could burden him. In a way it sets him free to do as he pleases. This can be both good and bad, and finding out that yes, he can eat twenty cakes of he wants to, but might get sick are going to be lessons in growing.
- Amiable
Going with his compassionate nature, Ryoji presents himself as easy going, with a somewhat innocent-like nature (you know, when he's not invading someone's personal space which is...very often). His voice is soft even when he's excited and others comment about how pleasant he is. He seems to enjoy every little thing in life that others might take for granted - for example sunrises and sunsets, and likes to go have fun with his friends. Wither that was an unconscious desire due to his connection and growth with the SEES Leader or not, he treasures it greatly. Friendships are precious to him and the fact he can be in this world, away from the Death that he is, is something that will make him appreciate each day and everyone he meets, despite the horrible, new circumstances that he is now in.
Abilities:
Note: I will try to nerf these abilities to the best I can, but please feel free to add more nerfs as needed.
- Death
As the appraiser of death and Nyx's avatar, Ryoji is not human even if he will present himself as a human. That means he doesn't really bleed and is made up of shadows instead. Those who are able to detect non-humans would be able to tell really easily what he is.
- Thanatos
Ryoji can turn into Thanatos, the 'complete' form of Death and this, in theory includes all the powers that Thanatos is able to use. Most of them involve dark attacks, physical and fear spells. Anything that could potentially kill someone will be removed and nerfed. Additionally, I'll play on the Persona summoning rules for when he can turn into Thanatos only under great stress / trying to protect someone / mod rules it okay.
- Nyx Avatar
Turning into a nightmarish giant winged creature (with an even more giant blade) of wtf proportions, the Nyx Avatar will probably be rarely used (if at all) in the game but is listed here as it is one of his powers.
Truthfully, since Ryoji has regained his sense of self, so to speak, becoming the Nyx Avatar is more a nightmare than an actual power for him, so you know, whenever the mods think it is a suitable punishment for him. ;)
- Unkillable (?)
I'm pretty sure this will be nerfed outright, but just in case, I am listing it here since it is a 'power';
It was proven in the game and in the movies that Ryoji cannot be killed as he is 'The Appriser'. However due to their connection, the SEES Leaders are able to harm him or outright kill him if they chose. Note that unkillable does not mean he is invincible. Additionally, if he is allowed to keep this power, only the non-sees members wouldn't be able to kill him. Funny thing that, in worlds where he isn't the personification of death, people are able to harm him just fine :)
-Hover/Fly
He can hover and/or fly without really thinking about it. It's also why he's a lot of times sitting on a roof. He seems to try and do it when no one's looking - for all intents and purposes, he want to keep playing being human, after all.
- Able to stop projectiles
He was seen stopping bullets by raising his hand. This will be nerfed.
- Other magical powers
Again, these will be nerfed, but worth mentioning since they are in the game - he can effortlessly toss Aigis around once he regains his memories with his barriers, and even destroyed an entire bridge without breaking a sweat.
Inventory: He only has the clothes on his back. If you consider the sword that Thanatos considers part of his inventory, then that is all he would have.
